Cook & Chat
Once a fortnight, five to eight of us cook the same two dishes together on Zoom and talk in English the whole time. The shopping list arrives in advance. You end up with dinner. Nobody is tested on anything.

About
I am a linguist and a teacher of English and German, based in Tel Aviv. I teach adults online and build lessons around real language: the things you actually want to say, culture, books, and whatever is currently not working.
I started out teaching the way I was taught, with grammar tables and a textbook. It worked badly. Now almost every lesson is a conversation, and people speak much sooner.
